Compared to large industrial compressors, residential models are optimized in terms of size, noise, and energy consumption: they use single-cylinder multi-stage compression instead of a multi-cylinder design, reducing floor space; noise is controlled by reducing the speed (usually below 1000 rpm), with an operating noise level of approximately 65 decibels, close to normal conversation; and the power consumption of 2.2kW is similar to that of a household air conditioner outdoor unit, resulting in a lower load on the power grid.
However, the compression efficiency is slightly lower than that of industrial models, so it is necessary to select the appropriate specifications based on the frequency of gas usage to avoid prolonged overload operation that could affect the compressor's lifespan.
